Teaching is a way to pass on the passion and skill that I learned from my teachers. It means keeping violin and classical music alive and well.

I bring a lot of energy to my teaching. I wave my arms about and sing at the top of my lungs and dance around. Anything to get my student as excited as I am.

I love the violin’s ability to sound like the human voice. It is so versatile. Violin is useful for almost every genre because it has such a wide range of sounds and pitches and techniques. Pizz, double stops, you know...

As a musician I care very deeply about giving an audience something refined but also moving. I love playing in chamber ensembles and having a leadership role. I strive to find my own unique voice.
